About Me

Dr. Abdul Samad has over a decade of experience in teaching and research, specializing in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning, Data Analysis, Computer Vision, and algorithms. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science obtained through a Fulbright scholarship. Currently serving as the Program Director for the Computer Science department, Dr. Samad oversees curriculum development and academic operations, focusing on enhancing student learning outcomes. His research interests include NLP, particularly in the finetuning of Large Language Models (LLMs), evidenced by his supervision of numerous theses and publication of research papers in the field.
